ProRes HQ is Apple's new wavelet-based codec that processes in full 10bit color and at a full 1920x1080 raster size.
At 240+ mb/s, ProRes is far more efficient than HDCAM and D5 and has, in many cases, eliminated the ONLINE ASSEMBLY process from 4:2:2 source movies.
