Stephen M. Beres
Technical Supervisor
Steve was not born or raised in the midwest, in fact he has only been there twice, from what he can remember it's nice. Steve was born in Calgary, Alberta Canada several decades ago, he can't remember much of the first decade, the last couple have been pretty good.
He grew up in the Southern Alberta foothills, heading out to Banff and his second home Canmore many weekends as a child. When he was seven, he was kidnapped by a group of nomad Gipsies. He traveled to Canada's provincial fairs operating a small skeet-ball game. When he was ten he fashioned a shank out of peaces of dried potato and used it to cut free of his bodes and stab his captors (not deep enough to kil them - only hobble them), making it impossible for them to follow him. He survived the winter by befriending a pack of Caribou, in the spring he bid farewell to his ungulate brethren and began the long trip back to Canmore. As it turned out he had been living in Yellow Knife in Canada's Northwest Territories. The whole journey had taken two and a half years, but finally on his thirteenth birthday he arrived home. His parents had not noticed that he was missing. However, they were glad to see him.
Like Tony, Steve also attended Full Sail in Orlando, FL. where he earned his Associate of Science Degree in Film and Video Production. Steve started his carer in television working on the critically acclaimed MatRats.com for Mandalay Entertainment. Steve has worked on projects for Canada's YTV, A Channel and The Men's Health Channel. Steve has worked with Apple Computer and Discreet and has earned the designation of Apple Certified Technical Coordinator and Apple Certified Final Cut Pro Trainer.
Steve does not have any Emmy's, however he did win a BigRock Beer Eddie award for one of his beer commercials, and is really pleased about that. Besides, if he really needed an Emmy, Mike would let him borrow one for the day, as long as Steve left something really good as collateral.
Steve is serves as PlasterCITY's Technical Supervisor, where he is in charge of deployment and management of SAN and network infrastructure as well as system support and new technology development.
